Gaining Access to the Exchange Module

Some of you have problems accessing all the functions of the 'Exchange' module. This means that you're unable to access the TN database or add TN forms to the system.

There are 3 requirements to meet before you can access the 'Exchange' module:

1. Complete the Exchange Certification Test. If you have already completed the InsightXP test, you will not need to do so again.
2. You should have been upgraded to at least 'TR' stage and approved by your LC VP IS. If you are in the 'LR' stage and above, you should have full access to the 'Exchange' module
3. For normal members, you must be 'assigned' a 'role' within your 'TR' stage. This means that the system only grants you access to the 'Exchange' module when it recognises that you are involved in a team. Please provide your log-in email address to your LC VP IS who will manually 'assign' you a role within a team on myaiesec.net

For EB members with 'LR' status, follow these instructions to grant your members full access to the 'Exchange' module (if they meet the 3 requirements above):

1. Go to 'Teams' on the left-hand panel
2. Click on 'New Team' on the right-hand panel
3. Type in any name, summary and content information for your team. Give it a name that is easy to remember and identify. Also specify the duration of your team. Save the team information
4. Add yourself into the team as 'Team Leader' and feel free to add your members into the team as 'Team Members' (you can search for them using their log-in email address). Please specify the duration of their involvement in the team
   
5. Once your members are added into the team as recognised by the system, they will gain full access to the 'Exchange' module as specified by the duration of their involvement in the team
   
6. To administer your team again when you exit the "Team' module, click on 'Browse Teams' and manually type in the name of your team in the team search function. You should be able to access your team and manually add\remove team members

Note: When you create a team, the level of administrative rights of the team members is defined by the person who sets up the team (local/national/international scope ). Hence, be careful of who is creating the team to ensure the right level of scope and administrative rights.

Getting Started

If you do not have an account with myaiesec.net:

1. Sign up for an account
2. Choose your respective status (Member or Alumni) and fill up the online application form. Choose your respective countries and LCs correctly
3. Remember your username and password. These are vital information that you should not lose
4. Upon completion of the form, simply wait for the system administrator to grant you access to myaiesec.net

If you've previously had an account with aiesec.net and completed your InsightXP test already:

1. Log into myaiesec.net with your same username and password
2. Check your XP stage (Go to 'Profile' -> Click on 'My AIESEC' -> Scroll down to 'My XP Stage')
3. If you're an existing EB, you should have LR stage. To upgrade to LR stage, go to 'Home' -> Click on 'Go to LR' on the right-hand panel -> Complete the short survey and wait for approval from your LC VP IS
4. If you're an existing member, you should have TR stage. To upgrade to TR stage, follow the same instructions above but click on 'Go to TR' instead of 'Go to LR' -> Complete the short survey and wait for approval from your LC VP IS

If you've previously had an account with aiesec.net and NOT yet completed your InsightXP:

1. Log into myaiesec.net with your same username and password
2. If you're an existing member, you should have TR stage. To upgrade to TR stage, follow the same instructions above but click on 'Go to TR' instead of 'Go to LR' -> Complete the short survey and wait for approval from your LC VP IS
3. Click on 'Exchange Certification Test'. This test will officially replace the old InsightXP test and will have to be passed before you can access the full functions of the 'Exchange' module
